In the public lecture series “City Talks”, hosted by the Working Group on Interdisciplinary Urban Research in cooperation with NUR – Network Urban Research, researchers from the Working Group on Interdisciplinary Urban Research at TU Darmstadt and invited guests from various disciplines present their current work on the topic of the city. The “City Talks” are open to all those interested in the university as well as the urban public and practitioners. Below you will find the individual dates of the lectures as well as the speakers of the summer semester 2024. We look forward to welcoming you to the “City Talks”.
We sincerely thank our speakers, Dr. Christian Rosen, Prof. Dr. Johanna Hoerning and apl. Prof. Dr. Björn Egner, for their exciting and multifaceted contributions to our “Urban Talks” series in the summer semester of 2024. Their presentations on “Comparative Perspectives on Hybrid Urbanisms in Ghana and Peru”, “Raumpolitik des Wohnens”, and “Housing First, Climate Second? Schwierigkeiten bei der Policy-Integration auf lokaler Ebene” have provided important impulses and valuable insights.
We are already looking forward to the continuation of the Urban Talks in the winter semester 2024/25. The call for applications will be published shortly. We invite all interested parties to actively participate and continue to shape this platform.
